Swing into action with explosive starts

Check out our latest "movement of the week". This week focuses on explosive power. All you need is to channel your inner child and get to a playground STAT!

Exercise: This one is pretty straight forward. Stand about 2-3 feet behind a swing set that has the seat raised about 2-3 feet off the ground. Stand in a squat position with your chest up and your knees extended past your toes. Slightly abduct your hips. Explode out of this position through the swing and land in a squat position. The key is to land with stability. Perform one more jump squat from this position. Repeat so that you perform 10 consecutive squat explosions combos. Rest for 30 seconds and repeat 3xs.
